The Control Unit

Do I need a prescription?

No. The Game Ready Control Unit, wraps and accessories on this site are available without a prescription.

How long is a session?

About 30 minutes per program; set the timer up to 90 minutes. Sessions are run seated.

How cold does it get?

You set the water temperature anywhere between 35 and 50°F, with a full reservoir of ice.

Are wraps included with the Control Unit?

No. Wraps are sold separately so you buy only the ones you need, or choose a Recovery Kit that pairs the Control Unit with the wrap for one body part.

Can I run it without a wall outlet?

Yes, with the rechargeable battery pack, sold separately. The AC adapter is in the box.

Wraps and sleeves

Does the wrap include the sleeve?

Yes. Every wrap ships as the chambered wrap with its connector and the fabric sleeve. Spare sleeves are sold separately.

Do I need a Game Ready Control Unit?

Yes. The wrap connects to the Game Ready Control Unit, which circulates chilled water and pulsed air through it. The Control Unit is sold separately, or as part of a Recovery Kit — a complete Game Ready System for one body part.

Which size or side do I need?

Open Fit & sizing above the buy button on any wrap page. Some wraps come in sizes or are cut for the left or right side; others fit either side in one size.

Paying and ordering

Is it HSA or FSA eligible?

Typically, yes — HSA/FSA eligibility is set by your plan. Most plans accept the card at checkout; some ask for an itemized receipt or a letter of medical necessity. Check with your plan administrator before you order. More about HSA/FSA.
